Sheetz Robber Leads Foot Pursuit Before Arrested In Loudoun County, Police Say

An 18-year-old Leesburg man was arrested for assaulting and robbing an acquaintance at a Sheetz gas station last week, police said.

Fidel Ordonez Molina assaulted the victim, took his phone and fled on foot around 5:20 p.m. Friday, May 17 at the Sheetz station on Edwards Ferry Road NE, Leesburg police said.

Officers canvassed the area and found Molina in the unit block of Plaza Street NE. Upon seeing the officers, Molina fled but was apprehended after a short foot chase, police said.

Molina charged with robbery, assault, and preventing law enforcement from making an arrest. Molina was transported to the Loudoun County Adult Detention Center where he is held on no bond. The victim was treated on the scene for his injuries.
